Want Optimal Health through Optimal Lifestyle Now?
The Four “E’s” for Wellness
How to’s may be found in multiplicity in every form of media, yet, 87% of people in the world are confused about how to eat for wellness.
Why?
· So-called protective agencies in some countries are not honest or cautious about labeling. There can legally be small amounts of allergens or even toxins not necessarily accounted for. You are not the one who chooses what amount is safe to allow. Examples @https://hideoushealthhabits.com/allergens-toxins-report/
· The general public has been lied to for many years regarding something like “fat is responsible for heart attacks” only to learn that healthy fats are essential for optimal brain function.
· Reports are slanted to bring you fake news. You are probably aware that some individuals would rather make the big bucks than tell you the truth. If whole foods can make you well again, then someone isn’t making money on treating all your ailments. Example of unnecessary treatments @https://hideoushealthhabits.com [or use a Medium post]
· We are not being honest with ourselves. When we see things in the media like “Big is Beautiful” promoting one should be as overweight as possible to be beautiful, I can’t help feeling it takes a mind-boggling blind-fold to not see through that deception.
Solutions: Let’s see what really is needed. Just four E’s will do the trick.
Eating Habits·
What does a healthy diet involve? Add fresh leafy green vegetables in higher amounts than you have been eating.
Fresh crispy veggies such as lettuce, kale, arugula create a gel-like substance that helps macro-nutrients like meat, carbs, and other foods flow through your system more readily and gets the waste to the liver.
· A balanced diet includes a small amount of clean animal products. Cattle that are free to roam and are not raised on corn. Grass fed as nature intended is important.
· Fruit is more easily digested when eaten on an empty stomach as it digests faster than other foods. If the stomach is full, the fruit will stay there too long and ferment. Eat fruit as a between meal snack. Eat the whole fruit for optimal health rather than fruit juices. The fiber in the fruit brings the sugars to the blood stream more slowly preventing sugar spikes. Bottled fruit juices may be overloaded with sugar.
· Processed foods are detrimental to your health. (Sugar is not a food, it’s a substance).

Exercise
Eating the right foods alone is not enough to keep you healthy. Movement is key.
Find a form of exercise that you enjoy and look forward to.
· Lifting weights is an excellent form of exercise especially for weight loss. However, it is crucial to get some wisdom and training for this form of exercise. If possible, hire a fitness trainer especially if you are not familiar with the how to’s of lifting
· I use a Simply Fit Board for bad weather days.
· Trampoline, rebounder or jumping rope are excellent choices to enhance the lymphatic system.
· Cross Fit is very popular but slightly misunderstood. I’m only familiar with how my friend’s Cross-Fit operates, so I’ll share this: she caters to your specific needs. No one is expected to make moves they don’t feel are at their level. She has a couple of clients in their 70’s and amazing all of us. They may never lift a kettle bell but they are staying fit.
Elimination
Perhaps the most important item on this list is to properly eliminate waste from your body. I’m amazed at the sales for diuretics and elimination aids on the market. Some of the people I coach have told me shocking stories causing wonder as to how they survived suffering from constipation. It causes impacted bowels leading to diseases such as cancer. Daily elimination of waste with ease (no straining) is of utmost importance for a healthy liver. And you do want a healthy liver, don’t you?
Solutions:
· Diet: Increase fiber consumption with leafy greens, fresh fruit, spices and herbs like ginger. Grate ginger and make tea from it, grate it over meat dishes every day. Put an inch or so in your homemade green juice.
· Get off your sugar. Studies have shown that sugar and high carbohydrates may cause constipation.
· Increase water consumption. Don’t count the water in other beverages, just plain water.
· Use a Squatty Potty. It releases the sphincter muscle allowing you to eliminate waste. A squatting position is what nature intended for eliminating waste. In the United States toilets are too tall. The Squatty Potty method is easy to use, just check it out on YouTube for demonstrations. No, I did not demonstrate it but others have dared. to make that video. Okay, TMI? You need to talk about these things at some point. We’re all grown up, right?
· Detoxing can help you on your way to the strong, fit body you are longing for. Which, you note, has brought us full circle. Back to the eating habits. Green leafy vegetables will help with waste elimination. Fresh greens create a silicone like gel that helps rid the waste.
Repeat this advice to yourself over and over. The mind is where it all begins. Set your mind on success by reading about a healthy lifestyle. Memorize one line you can repeat over and over.
Emotional Health is the topic of my soon coming Medium series on JOY
But for this space I will share 3 ancient quotes from the Supreme Authority for life:
· “Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6, ESV).
· “And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7, ESV).
· “Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable,…just, … pure, … lovely, … is worthy of praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8, ESV).
Just say: Whew! It’s not up to me to fix this. God is still on the throne.
Right now, 2020 Pandemic era, we need to get outdoors and breathe for emotional health. If parks are closed in your area, find some common wooded surroundings if possible and walk among the trees. Some are advocating to stay indoors. There may be situations where that is best. If stepping out means exposure to possible infections, and your system is weak or compromised then think twice. Maybe you can figure out a way to bypass the threat.
“Allow nature’s peace to flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.” John Muir …
Not only have studies shown trees emit invisible chemicals known as phytoncides that have the potential to reduce stress hormones like cortisol, and lower blood pressure, but they also improve immunity.
Of course, emotional health is a huge topic. Since it can’t be dealt with in more depth, I’m creating a series on Medium dot com entitled JOY, IT CAN BE YOURS. Watch for it and join me for tips on emotional health and stability during trials, hurt, and pain. This is an exclusive series only for those who have trials, hurt, or pain. I had to include a little sarcasm.
P. S. One more E could be for educate.
Educate ourselves on the truth. .
Is this true? Get to know your sources. Then look inside yourself. I believed what the FDA was telling me about fats for many years. Had no idea my brain was 60% fat and I needed more healthy fats.
Fat plays an important structural role in your brain cell membranes. In fact, the essential fatty acid DHA makes up a full quarter of all brain fat, and it’s the brain’s preferred fat for building membranes. Daniel Amen
Look inside yourself for the answers. Educate yourself. Does the source you are exploring have a hidden agenda? In this article we are presenting 4 E’s that have come from experience of people (including this author) who have sought to improve their own health. No hidden agenda here.
